is a Geneva-based medical and surgical center that treats patients with orthopaedic conditions, mainly disorders affecting the foot and ankle. It is headed by Dr Adrien Ray, a Swiss medical association orthopaedic and trauma surgical specialist for the musculoskeletal system. The Center is located in Hospital de la Tour in Meyrin, close to the CERN Center and Geneva airport.

Ankle instability is defined as painful ankle laxity and results from repeated trauma to the various external ligaments of the ankle. The external structure is composed of three ligaments that provide stability to the joint when the ankle is moving while preventing excessive bone movement. It consists of a deformation of the 5th metatarsal, which takes on a curved appearance, and results in painful excessive pressure on the outer edge of the foot. A bony protrusion is seen at the base of the 5th toe. This is actually the contact between the edge of the metatarsal head and the skin. The discomfort is mainly due to pressure against the shoe.

Plantar fasciitis, also known as plantar aponeurosis or a heel spur, is a painful condition affecting the plantar area of the heel. It is the primary cause of talagia or heel pain. It is an inflammation of the plantar fascia – a fibrous band of tissue extending from the calcaneus to the toes and involved in the arched shape of the foot. Like many tendon disorders, it results from a repetitive strain injury.
